Using cardboard with paint pens - a technique I have used before in my painted work. I modelled the idea on a girl thinking about the brand whilst her thoughts spilt out, whilst wearing a piece of Carhartt collection for that year.
Using cardboard was very appropriate for the brand as it would help to re-enforce the street art style.
This was initially sketched up in my sketchbook along with other concepts and then worked up to a final preliminary before working up again on some cardboard.

I used cardboard as I thought it was very appropriate for the brand evoking a street art, and of course it was economical and very easy to get hold of. I had used the medium previously in the Lifecycles group show in London.
