Brief
Create animated content for ClearScore's annual stage presentation, providing technical direction as well create engaging visual motion design as well as provide video editing for the talking head sections of the presentation. Create an animated introduction so a follow up smaller, scale conference.

ClearScore, a leading global credit score provider, first launched in the UK before expanding to South Africa, Australia, and India. For their first in-person annual keynote presentation since the Covid-19 pandemic, the event was streamed to investors, users, and partners worldwide.
I was brought on board to design and produce the keynote presentation, creating branded animated assets, video edits, and layout design for the entire event. This included editing special video segments featuring David Hasselhoff and preparing a keynote message from the Chairman, who, as in previous years, was unable to attend in person.

Storyboards for the Hello animation map out the sequence of visuals that bring the word to life as it drops onto the screen. Each frame sketches the key moments of movement, pacing, and interaction, establishing how the animation will unfold before production begins. They serve as a blueprint for rhythm, staging, and the overall audience experience.
Drawn and refined before entering Adobe After Effects, these storyboard frames provide clear direction on motion paths, transitions, and scene flow. This pre-visualization process helps align creative teams, maintain narrative clarity, and ensure the final animation delivers a polished, engaging introduction for conferences, brand events, and digital presentations.
Styleframe
Stage
Styleframes for the Hello animation are polished still images that capture the intended visual direction before motion is added. Designed in Adobe Illustrator, they define colour palettes, typography, layout, and graphic elements, establishing the aesthetic foundation for the animation’s look and feel.
Brought into Adobe After Effects using the Overlord plugin, these frames serve as visual benchmarks throughout production. They guide decisions on composition, timing, and transitions, ensuring consistency across scenes and helping deliver a professional, cohesive animation for events, branding, and digital presentations.
Using Premier Pro, I was additionally tasked with creating an edit of ClearScore’s co-founder and Chairman Nigel Morris who gave his annual, pre-recorded message.
A highlight of the keynote presentation was a Cameo appearance from David Hasselhoff, star of Knight Rider, Baywatch and alcoholism, who delivered his rendition of Happy Birthday.
Kick-Off
Intro
I was commissioned to design a brief yet impactful motion design piece for the introduction of Kickstart 2022, a mid-year mini-presentation aimed at energizing and aligning the team. The directive was straightforward: craft a concise, visually engaging animation that sets the tone for the conference while reflecting the themes of innovation, progress, and collaboration.
Working closely with the Creative Director, I conceptualised and executed a dynamic sequence that seamlessly blended ClearScore annual theme look and feel with to grab the attention of the audience right from the outset. Whilst a short piece of work the deliverable demanded a focus on both clarity and simplicity, to ensure the animation resonated with the event's objectives and audience. The final piece served as both an introduction and a rallying point, setting the stage and atmosphere for the keynote presentation.
